Pomegranates are incredibly healthy – full of antioxidant power which is great for building the immune system. If you use raw cacao – you will be adding even more vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to this fabulous treat. What could be better than pomegranate and chocolate? Enjoy!
Note: For the healthiest version of this recipe use high quality raw cacao powder, cacao butter and very little natural sweetener, gently melted together using indirect heat to keep it raw (boiled water in outer bowl, cacao and cacao butter and sweetener melting together in an inner bowl).
Prep time: 10 minutes
Refrigeration time: 60 minutes
Yields: 8 servings
2 pomegranates (seeds only)
1 10 oz bag of high quality organic dark chocolate (or see Note above)
Melt chocolate on stove.
Mix in pomegranate seeds until fully covered in chocolate.
Spoon out in droppings onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
Place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
