I love to flavor pure water with healthy fruits and vegetables! It is a great, refreshing way to add some zing to an ordinary beverage! You can make your own healthy creations by using combinations of lemon, ginger, cucumber, mint, fennel or raspberry.
This recipe has plenty of health benefits. The cucumber is very hydrating and contains electrolytes that help the heart and nervous system. Lemons contain phytonutrients and antioxidants that help the body neutralize free radicals that damage our cells. Mint promotes healthy digestion. Together, these three ingredients make water a pleasant tasting and healthy beverage that is alkalizing to the body.
